Press-on aftercare
Following these tips will help your press-on nails last longer and stay beautiful.
- Avoid prolonged submersion in water, and use gloves when doing dishes or cleaning. Excessive exposure to water can weaken the adhesive.
- Avoid using them as tools or exposing them to excessive force.
- Moisturise your cuticles and the skin around your nails regularly with cuticle oil. This helps keep the natural nails healthy and prevents the press-ons from lifting.
- Limit contact with harsh chemicals such as strong cleaning agents or chlorine. Exposure can weaken the adhesive and affect the appearance of the press-on nails.
- Avoid heat exposure. Prolonged exposure to heat, such as hot water, sauna, or direct sunlight can affect the adhesive. Try to keep your hands protected in extreme conditions.
- When it's time to remove the press-on nails, follow the recommended removal process. Gently peel off the nails without forcing or prying.
